LTC Zlín & Brno 07,

Hard to describe that atmosphere, you can see pictures here. LC Zlín and LC Brno together (Jižní Morava, Brno a Zlín AHA!), a lot of learning, a lot of partying, a lot of teambuilding.I realized there, thate we are now strong and able to move with LC Zlín into the next level - we have enough poeple,we have know-how, we have resources, we have projects, we have good external conditions here, we have best atmosphere ever, last "scalp" will be EXCHANGE BOOST, after that we can say that we are doing AIESEC properly :)

Edd is in Zlin

After some challenges, Edd is finally in Zlin. Yesterday we took him to America pub, so he was like at home :-) Guys started to teach him, how to drink "zelena", so you can imagine, how we went home ;-) I can say that the welcome at bus station was almost the same as for Gina, maybe there were some changes (Adam with Honza were fighting and so on). But it was really cool to see so many guys waiting for Edd there, it was warm welcome for him and he told me, he really enjoyed his first night in Zlin (and its not because he was sleeping at my place ;-)) So if you wanna meet him, he is coming for LTC this weekend! See you there!

Hey Zlíneček!

I would like to share with you my experience from IC. Let's go to the topic:

STUDY TOUR
Motto of the study tour was "sorry for the situation" (answer of the OC members to all our questions) Let's say that it was random :) But on the other hand, we visit several Palaces (I like the most one christian church which was transformed into arabian one:) We were also in the crazy turkish bazar (market where you can negotiate everything) I bought scarf for my mather:)

We were acomodated in the separted dorms (under the HSBC scyscraper:) and there was not allowed to drink alcohol in public space (but we - majo and me - didn't beleive and we tried...policeman came and took our czech Rum out...so we started one more time with fernet...it was accepted) I am attaching some pictures from study tour.

Central and Eastern Europe pre meeting:
After study tour we moved to the IC site (YEDITEPE university), which was really beautifull, again separated dorms and there was 25 random dogs in that complex. CEE pre-meeting was about basic stuff (like planning, Exchange delivering and so on) For us there was not so many new things, but our role was: to share with others, cause not each @ countrie is so developed like Czech Republic. What I like was sessions about EnterCEE program (Zlin is also part of that), it was very nice to see LC Zlin in EnterCEE powerpoint.

IC:

It is very hard to write about it in short way, there is so many things what I would like to share. Feel free to speak with me about IC. In general, we are still striving for 2010 vision, we are now generation of achievers and we are global citizens (which means that we are taking care about environment in this planet) That things were mentioned many times. Sometimes too much times:) I liked external guests from companies like Microsoft or Alcatel, and also I really liked sessions about history of AIESEC. I think that IC is great experience, because we could understand more "what to hell that AIESEC really is" And after IC I confirmed that it is still best organisation (cause our activities makes sense) And, fortunatelly, we (LC Zlín) can strive for organisation goals with our own way (there is no manual, or guideline)

This will be like "fluffy sentence" but I was proud to Zlín most in my life. Cause I had chance to compare with other LCs and we are completely unique:))) Our realistic way of thinking, activities like LTC XP, Workshops, our culture and yes...finally also results! - I felt like in heaven. I hope that we will not lost it in the future, but we will improve it (we need more projects, more ideas). We have now chance finally deliver "real activities which makes sense", we can try to balance personal life with AIESEC (which means to be effective and spend less time in office) we can build our "building" in Zlín style. We have right people who ar able to do it. And we will recruit strong "07" - I am sure.

Party's:

I think I will not tell you any news...you know my behaviour in the party's. Key learning points:

best delegation were Czech Republic, Estonia and Slovak Republic! me, Majo and Roman were networked especially with estonia (AssToeKneeEye) we named our cooperation "Czechostonia"

Kachne was climbing to the trees, I was swimming in fountaine, Majo as usuall, we tried 80% estonian vodka, we were sleeping in average 3 hours per night...

Starosta (our ex-coach)is still God, he was responsible for beer, you can imagine. Tina (our coachica) is queen, she was enjoying participation with us, most from the MC team!

Interested people, my number and e-mail is still the same, I have tons of pictures, a lot of bussiness cards (for branding funs - each one is different), just approach me.

Bye bye party for Gina

Tonight (29.8.) will be bye bye party for Gina. We are starting in Amerika (oh my god) and continuing to Musicland :-) So see you there! Btw. On Sunday (2.9.) new trainee is coming - he is from Germany and his name is Robin, so next Wednesday (5.9.) will be welcome party for him! Check your emails for more details!

So we are still in process, guys... Yesterday we had turkish night. There were many people - EB (without Mojco - he is experiencing Turkey on his own :-)); Janca; Ali; CEEDers and Gina. We had cool dinner and then presentation about Turkey. I like it! We were also singing songs and trying to learn chinese song ;-) In the end we took Hena and painted our hands, you can see my hand on the picture. I am happy I didnt paint my right hand - I was on business meeting today ;-)

China night

For all members from LC Zlin, who missed yesterday Diegos great China night, I would like to tell, what was there and how was it... We started with cool tomato and eggs soup, next was chicken with coca-cola and soy sauce (I loved it) and last part were potatoes and paprika - we ate it with chop-sticks - for me it was for the first time and we enjoyed really FUN! After that we had China presentation, Diego gave us many presents for luck and showed us nice pictures from China. Last part of the evening was Chinese movie... Next week there is turkish night - so dont be silly and come, guys (especially Kvetos, Lukyn - where are you guys? Havent seen you for ages ;-))

Summer Strategic Conference

Hey guys!
We are back from SUSTRCO and this conference was amazing - not only because of our great Adam Lebeda (OCP) and his great OC team! For the first time there was a survival day and we all survived! I can say it was great team experience for me, somebody touches his/her down and all team was working hard (even me as "ako keby" ill). We didnt win this race, but still I am proud of all members of Zlin (especially Radovan, who was great runner, you cant imagine!!!). We are motivated now to reach our goals and made LC Zlin the best LC ever...

SuStrCo wil start 25th of July 2007 (wednesday) Meeting point is train station Zlin-stYed at 11:00 a.m. This date and place are actual and definetely done, without next unexpected changes.

Wednesday - national teambuilding event called " Survival Day". All people who will be there will understand what means hell, paradise and purqatory (oistec). If you want to discover how deep are your psysical limits, how strategic is your thinking, how big is your trust to your colleagues, find method how you can come to Survival day (not reason why it is not possible) This survival day is resurection of old aiesecer's regular event, which was one of most life-changing experience in @ Czechoslovakia. Nowadays it will be resurect by LC Zlin, OC Sustrco, NTT and Martin Chovanec (ex LCP Košice and member of NC in @ Czechoslovakia)

From Thursday till Saturday - conference will be running. All information you would find in delegate mailing lists (or ask to your LCP) We are members of AIESEC in the Czech Republic and this conference is for our term essential.

Sunday - functional meetings - empowerement of the knowledge from conference.

Without you this conference will be not " AGAP" (as good as possible) You are welcome!

SO, guys, EB is going for EB holiday to Slovakia for 3 days to make more "deviace" and relax a little bit (you know after we came with Jitus from one big relax, we need the second one :-))

Gina finally in Zlin!

Inniciative group of 6 members of AIESEC Zlin were waiting her 20 minutes before midnight in bus station. Gina came by yellow bus from Prague. We were pretening that we are not there. Pago was pretending that he is ordering coca-cola from automat, Zdenal was pretending that he is homeless, Adam was hidden somewhere (I am not sure where), Mirka and Monika were hugging tugether like lesbien duo and I was pretending phone call from phone automat.

Gine were wery confused that nobody is waiting her and looking to someone ho pick hr up:) We were laughing, cause we are "mrdky"

After few minutes we did our signal and jump to Gina (especially XD pičo Adam with his original transparent "welcome Gina" with flag of USA and Zlin region)

She was happy that someone is waiting her and we went directly to BAR-BAR pub, asked important questions and drunk 2 beers and 1 absint. She seems to be really good intern, according to her answers "YES" to our question :)))

After that, "statecny pius" Zdenal went with her to dormitory(Antoninky) - seecret info is that they drunk also one more shot of RUM there :)

Today in the morning she went with Pago to Uherske Hradiste to her first work day:) We are waiting how it was after first "get drunk" in Zlin :)

Yeah, I love culture understanding, and I hope that it was not "behind the border"....

I just came back from MC Take Over Party in Protivanov and have to tell you, that it was really coooool event! We were the biggest delegation there and making a lot of "deviations" :-) You will see photos from this event on rajce really soon.

On friday there was AGAIN party at Adam´s place. You can check some photos from there at aiesec.rajce.net. We started at 7 o clock and finished around midnight. Of course some of us were continuing to the Musicland :-) We FINALLY gave to Petula notebook with photos.
But this is not everything from this week! We matched another TN - ISDIM - so we will have a lot of internationals during holiday here! Wish us good luck - we are running for first NEP in Zlin!

EB feedback evening

Yeap. Last weeks we didn´t have enough time to speak together so conflicts started... ;-) We decided to speak about it and solve first EB team problems through FEEDBACK session. I can say it moves our team in right way and I feel really better after we spoke about everything... So NOW we are ready to start summer work (Zdenal has final exams on 12 of June - so think about him at 10 o clock) and we will rock YOU!
As Mojco has already written on our amazing community - we matched KASTEK and we are waiting for great trainee from USA! If you have already all exams done and want to help LC with all work...let us know, we welcome every helping hand! Alumni meeting

Yesterday we were with alumni from Zlin in Chelsea. I was really surprised, how they still like AIESEC. They were telling us stories from their terms – some of them really disgusting J I think AIESECers are still the same. Did you know, that one guy from Zlin was also MCP? We were sharing some strategies from past and now and finally found out, that something will never change – as reputation of AIESECers at university and more. But I am really proud that I am part of AIESEC more than 4 years! I am looking forward for more meetings – let´s meet on 15^th Mai 2015… I think Zdenal will marry Jitka, Kvetos won´t come, because he will be looking after his children (Petula will come) and I will be still single J and still searching :-D Mojco will marry Sputter from Ostrava and Pago finally show the truth – his sister is not his sister as we all know. And what about Jitka Mot.? For sure she will marry one alumni from Brno J And she will have 2 children (twins). Good luck with exams! Yours LuC
